Isiah Thompson, Owner
Isiah began his career with Hat Creek Construction, where he advanced to the role of Project Engineer and co-managed projects valued at up to $5 million. While he gained valuable experience in construction, his passion remained rooted in forestry. In 2017, he joined Forest Fitness in New Mexico as the Mastication Division Manager. In this role, he was responsible for bidding, scheduling, and managing a team of eight operators, overseeing eight high-horsepower rubber-tired masticators/mulchers, and leading multiple large-scale, thousand-acre fire prevention projects.
In 2019, Isiah returned to Northern California with two years of intensive mastication experience and founded Thompson Land Management, LLC. Since then, the company has experienced significant growth, now operating a fleet of nine machines and employing a dedicated team.
His prior experience has proven invaluable in building and managing a successful operation. Isiah is deeply committed to improving the health and longevity of our forests—not only as a profession, but as a way of life and a legacy for future generations. As the owner of El Dorado Forest Solutions, he maintains a strong focus on long-term sustainability and profitability.
Isiah dedicates considerable time to building and maintaining relationships within the community and among leaders in the forestry industry. As a leader, he sets a strong example and is focused on developing company standards that foster both productivity and a positive work environment. He approaches each project strategically, ensuring that El Dorado Forest Solutions is well-positioned to complete work safely, with the appropriate equipment, and at the highest standard of quality.
Clay Brock, Field Supervisor
Clay Brock brings over twelve years of experience in the forestry industry to his role as Field Supervisor at El Dorado Forest Solutions, Inc. His extensive background spans a wide range of operations, including timber sale marking, watercourse flagging, timber cruising, equipment operation, and mechanical repair. Clay’s strong commitment to quality workmanship and client satisfaction has made him an integral part of the continued success of El Dorado Forest Solutions, Inc.
Nick Anderson, Quality & Compliance Manager
Nicholas Anderson serves as a Consultant for El Dorado Forest Solutions, Inc., where he provides strategic oversight, supports day-to-day operations, and acts as a primary point of contact for project coordination. With over a decade of experience in forestry and land management, Nick brings a strong foundation of field expertise and operational leadership to the organization.
Over the past five years, Nick and his team have worked closely with subcontractors, successfully planning and executing numerous fuel break and hazard tree removal projects. His collaborative approach and deep understanding of forest health and wildfire mitigation continue to support effective, sustainable land management solutions throughout the region.

“It’s really hard finding young people who are interested in the environment and wilderness, but somehow I met the right people,” explains Isiah. “We are all similar in many ways as far as our devotion to this line of work, and when you have that kind of bonding, it’s easy to get things done. We are a family-like crew that share similar outlooks on life, which is why we get along so well.”
